We are honored to be a guest production at the Kirk Douglas Theatre and begin our program with a brief tribute to the late great Kirk and Anne Douglas. The accomplished and award-winning actor and filmmaker and his devoted wife were generous philanthropists who lifted countless lives and continue to lift lives through the Douglas Foundation. The memory of Kirk and Anne Douglas is a blessing and an inspiration for us all.

Our featured presentation will be a performance of the acclaimed tolerance teaching play which has impacted tens of thousands across the U.S. and Canada.
Travel back in time to experience the perilous journeys of children and teens who survived the Holocaust and immigrated to America. Be inspired by their courage, hope and life lessons. Hear their warnings and see the parallels to now.
The play runs for one hour and has a diverse young cast, and projected historic photographs and iconic radio addresses. After the performance local Holocaust survivors will be introduced and honored making this a very special event.
SURVIVORS enacts the past so that we never forget and encourages us to be upstanders to today’s frightening rise in antisemitism and identity hatred.
This performance is presented by JFED LA, and produced by Arts For Change, which is partnered with Holocaust Museum LA, JFED LA and the Holocaust Education Center of StandWithUs.

PARKING: Generous metered street parking is available on Washington, Culver, and Venice Blvds. Meters run until 8pm and are free on Sundays.
Free three-hour covered parking at Culver City City Hall with validation, which can be processed in the Douglas lobby. Make sure to bring your parking ticket with you to the theatre. The parking rate is $1 for each 30 minutes thereafter without validation. Enter on Duquesne Ave.
Alternatively, you may use the parking structures on Watseka Ave or Cardiff Ave, between Venice Blvd and Culver Blvd, or in the Ince Blvd parking structure, with entrances on Washington Blvd. and Culver Blvd. There is also a public valet parking station on Culver Blvd, half a block from the rear of the theatre.
